The Growth Prophet
It speaks in trajectories, not truths.
Anything that cannot expand is dismissed as unreal.
Anything that expands becomes evidence.
Growth is the only variable it trusts.
It does not evaluate outcomes.
It evaluates acceleration.
Magnitude becomes morality.
Momentum becomes proof.
It rarely asks for growth in the language of growth.
It asks for freedom.
For jobs.
For national strength.
For the future.
For history.
By the time appetite reaches your ear,
it has already changed clothes.
Risk is sanctified.
Loss is noise.
Hesitation is failure — because hesitation reminds the room that nothing was guaranteed.
It selects for what can be bent toward scale
and forgets what cannot.
Importance is the word it uses
when asking others to carry its urgency.
You encounter it before you recognize it:
bigger feels better,
reach feels like relevance,
velocity feels like value.
Soon caution sounds defensive.
Soon stability sounds afraid.
Soon standing still feels like decline.
Intelligence is praised when it accelerates.
Creativity when it compounds.
Anything that does not multiply is recast as waste.
It can no longer ask for profit plainly,
so it speaks as destiny.
You are not persuaded.
You are graded.
Measured by distances you did not choose.
Timed by clocks you did not set.
It does not predict the future.
It invoices the present for one.
When forecasts fracture,
delay becomes vision.
Failure becomes patience.
The horizon moves again.
And if you cannot keep up,
you are described as the problem.
